Welcome aboard. That is a beautiful area, a nice home, and a comfortable and well organized workspace. The first eye catcher is the storage wall of bins. That is very nice.
It looks like you have plenty of work room and the organization is quite nice.
I will return for more shots of your workbench areas. It is very interesting the way you have set things up!! Nice spaces.

Best Regards
Herb Spencer

Many thanks HSpencer. you place is nice too ;)

All the area was made in 2010, before was totally open, the car before the build, can go around the house.
Many things are not finished due the lack of money. But after a long period of depression, despair, the will comes little by little, even if i pass many periods waiting for nothing. Like me many many other persons are in trouble.
But i hve the hope i will concretize my dreams, even if runs like a snail ;)

the entrance is the area to work car exhaust. Because I decided don't lift the roof to mantain the design of the house, it was not possible put a lift, so i escavated the ground to make a "Fossa" with 5 metres long (I don't know the name in English, sorry), this part of the area have 7 meters long and 3.80 width.
As you see in my website, is enough for a car or a truck, like the Bedford J2, in some photos too. The car comes in front of atelier, and after doing the reverse and turn, goes on the road always facing the road.
The front house has an excellent space.

The bins and almost machine tools come from the workshop i must to sell, except a few like the washing machine , air compressor, etc.
However i have to sold 80 bins. That ones are that I keep.

The white exhibitors are on sale, I want to build more tables, a welding table, and others to work and also to fix some machines that will acquire slowly. Later on I will tell you I want to buy.
This is the narrowest part of the atelier, but the longest 9 meters long. I want to do practical tables with a system to move the nesas, assemble and exchange tools, with 4 slots in the 4 corners, but with a vintage appearance, as I saw a company in the United States of America, but not so sofisticated as you see at the website www.retro.net
I want to apply the style heavy iron, and join wood applications. Use the gray anthracite with mahogany color in the wood. And right in the center of the wood, I apply a one strip in red metal. Iron style format will be the "I" .
I must a nice table and wait the reaction of a possible interested...then I will make for them...

In the part you see the black chair, i want make a a small area to see tv or listen nice music, i have many vinil from 80's and 90's.

Bettwen this two areas, I dream with Roll bender, grinders, sheet 3-in-1 Machine metal folder, "Slug Buster" Hydraulic Hole Punch, tube notcher, a nice cuting glass, Gemini Revolution XT, a area to work with polymer clay, with a oven too cook the polym, and some other tools, like metalcraft and Kreg Jig® Master System to make some complements all them installed in nice work tables. This is all for now. Later I will put the other part of the atelier, where you will see other interesting tools and machines.

Luis,
I always enjoy seeing what others from around the world do with their garages. Your maximizing the use of your space is an inspiration and should be noted by others (especially here in the US where the mind set is, bigger is better, no...better is better).

I understand what your going through with the economy, I think a lot of us do right now with this crappy economy and falling wages, keep your head up and keep plugging along, it's all we can do right now and hopefully sometime in the near future the world will wake up and realize it's all been a scam.

Oh, and by the way, what you call a "Fossa", we here in the States call a "Pit".

I will made almost the pieces as art, but also with a pratical sense, most will be a lights or clocks...

Then when I have more tools, like a welding table, a workstation, all made by me, I wil make tables, armoires chairs all in industrial style.

Enjoy and feel free to comment like or not, don't worry...i am so far to start a fight:scared: hehehe

Luis,
You are very well equipped and have a great setup there, well done.

I love your island paradise Madeira, such beautiful contrasts and many thanks for sharing.

Regards

Thank 1/2 Cup, yes, i have some, and all working well, the Huth bender was aqquired in 1994 and never have a faillure, even the small blue driller, in the shelve (blue one AEG Electronic with variospeed) is from 1982 and never broke. In the first 10 years was normal to connect at mornig and desconet at the end of day. Good times, plenty of work in car exhausts. I like to preserve my things ;)

If you like the island, you must see in person, this is a very rocky island, many tunnels excavated in basaltic rock, one the most hard to blast!

I have a friend with a small hotel in the capital city, Funchal. A perfect hotel to do not spent to much, and clean. Ideal for the persons who like get out at morning and come at night. Don't make any sense pay a 5 stars hotel and stay...the maority ogf hotels in Madeira are 4 and 5 stars howwver :)
