Today I had the chance to try out my newest S-O item at my 4th of July BBQ. Out of all the tools I own, I have only 2 that have Snap-on written on them. I won't get into "what brand is best or are they worth the money you paid." I will say that the Snap-on Mugs excelled at 1) keeping my beverage contained along with the ice, and 2) made it impossible to get mixed up with other party go'ers drink containers. I didn't even have to etch my name in them or spray them with neon orange paint.
I had to clean the hell out of them as the previous owner left metal polish in all the seems, letters, and corners. I boiled them for a few minutes and gave them a good work out with the rag and some good ol' elbow grease. They are really sturdy metal so we threw one in the freezer for a hour or so and then were quite pleased with the Bud-Light freezing to the inside once put in use. No one licked it to see if your tounge would stick....yet.
My other Snap-on item is a Go-Ped scooter that was a promo item I guess if you bought a tool chest. My cousin has a motorized bar stool that came with his box. Anyway I bought this off a fella to throw in the back of the Cessna when I fly out to places just for the hell of it. If the airport doesn't have a courtesy car, I jump on this little ******* and buzz out usually to pick up a bite. Saved me hundreds in Taxi fee's over the years.
So I'd like to invite everyone to post up their Snap-on Promo items. I'm sure there are some pretty cool/interesting ones.
