One of the few people here that could ask a helper to pass him a
3/8" 10mm ratchet and a 1/2" 17mm and 19mm ratchets...

Even though I do not have a hint of a collector about me... in fact I recently
sold a standard length 1/2" ratchet as I had three of them in my workshop box,
and as I can only use two at a time maximum, I sold one and felt better about
my tool kit.. and with the money I bought some tools I didn't have, and as
fate would have it, I needed one of my new tools on my very next job..

I guess I am the opposite of a tool collector... whatever that may be, however
one cannot fail to be in awe of a set of hand tools like that. Hat's off to ya fella,
that is a truly amazing sight.

What's up with the green hard handle that keeps on jumping around picture to picture, am I missing something here?

Hmm good Idea, sad that he has to prove they are his tools. Even sadder that someone would find pics of tools and post them as his.

I showed those pics to my wife. She laughed and said well there is somebody out there more addicted than you are.

It's only money. You can't take it with you when you die.

True, but time is finite for us mortals. Doubt the gravestone will read "I wish I had found that one remaining ...tool"

Surely more interesting things to devote time to. There is an entire planet of interesting people & places to see.

Nice collection,

As said some people collect weired stuff, so why not this ?

I for one would like to see more pictures, for all we know there might be another box with the day to day used tools in it ?

My wife and daughter has a huge Care Bear collection that fills the basement. Anyone want to do a swap of Care Bears for snap on tools?

rats I thought not!

Nice collection man! How many hands do you have??? I have just 3 ratchets, one 1/4, one 3/8 (snap-on) and one 1/2... That's all I need :)

Man! All those old hard handles and I have only been searching for ONE lost from my original first set when I started working!!
Very nice collection! I'd offer to buy that one missing one, but it appears you are "collecting" not "selling".....

chrome flakes off, especially on the open ends,

oh, yeah I guess you could see it that way....I was just thinking back to my time around a hangar / flight line. I don't remember ever seeing anything but chrome wrenches in the military issued tool boxes....I would think if FOD where a real issue on that Uncle Sam would not allow them....but that was 20 plus years ago - maybe it's changed?...and besides that, Iv'e worn the chrome of some tools, but never had flakes come off of good tools....

Old thread, so does anyone have the OP beat as of now?!?!

I found some thing that he does not have in his collection. It was in a drawer in the basement. I will try and post a pic in a couple of days. I dropped my phone in the water at a local marina and have not been able to retrieve it. New phone on the way.
