Here's where I hang out.

40 X 40 Steel building, 12' insolated walls and lift ready. When I can afford one or two.

It's already full. Should have made it bigger. I need another just to store the finished and waiting projects.

I never use this saying because I think it sounds dumb, but I really felt it when I saw your collection: YOU ****!!! Big time!! I mean really!!!! ;):spit:

AWESOME friggin' collection. If you start posting records of these builds, or new stuff you are doing, I'll open your threads like I open OCG's threads!!! You're my favourite kind of collector too - not a "ford" guy or "chevy" guy or "Mopar" guy - but a "COOL CAR" guy!

Thanks for posting it all - looking forward to seeing much more.:thumbup:

So the Deputy was originaly a cop car???

No, it was a no frills, slant 6, auto, no this, no that, low cost Challenger Coupe. Not a cop car just called a Deputy. You could however, order about everything on it if you want. There were 8 383 4speed Deputys made, one on the rarest of all Challengers. About 3000 Deputys were made in 1970-1971.

Mine was ordered with about everything thar was deleted froma base Challenger. Go figure?

Thanks man. I've been registered since 2007. I forgot I was on this forum.

I still have 2 more to go, not including the dailys and Harleys.

here are some of the tools.

Lincoln Idealarc 250, I have no idea how old this is. I got it from my father-in-law in about 1990 when he quit farming. It's a work horse.

Awesome Awesome Awesome. The Mustang has always been my favourite year and model, my older brother had a few of them. My Dad bought a new 1970 Javelin, lime green with black stripes, auto with a 360 high performance factory package. I was 7 years old and I can still here that motor in my head when my dad would lean on it, the hood scoop would open up unleashing that gnarly growl. Man I miss those days and those cars.

:bowdown:Man O Man O Man - What a primo collection! It'd be great to see a photo history of each build-up. I love to watch the progression of restorations, hear about all the headaches and learn how they were resolved.

Well, the Rambler is easy. Haven't done a thing to it. Except a brake job and change the oil.

The Ford F1 I have a complete build thread I'll post and the Studebaker I've started one.

The Mustang and Challenger were pretty much done when I bought them. So not much on them either.

The AMX and Chevelle I'll have to dig up the old photos and scan them.

Do you have any photos of the carb linkage set-up? just chasing ideas.

While everyone's drooling over the muscle cars, I have to admit that the 65 Rambler got my pants wet! My first car was a '66 Classic bought it off my then BIL for $300 in 1972. She didn't like to start in cold weather, the heater was a POS, but it was mine! And with a Kraco 8 track under the dash, what more did a kid need? Thanks for the memories!

Yes I do. It's a combination of the rod and bellcranks from Offy and a modified stock Chevy one. The carbs I have are Rochester B and the throttle goes up on the left side. The linkage is progressive but I'm only running the center carb for now.

There's more! 1954 Studebaker Pickup
This truck belonged to my wife's grandfather and then her father. It was bought new in Gilroy, CA in 1954 and used on their farm there.

OK, those are my toys. I'm not going to show my daily a Chevy Silverado because it just isn't that interesting.

But here's my wife's toys. She's not into the old stuff. These are in her 3 car attached garage with her daily a Ford Escape, again not too interesting.

It's next on the list. Don't worry I'm in New Mexico it won't rust away.

I just bought this today and will pick it up this week end.
1935 Dodge 2 door sedan. $250

I'm going to look around the place and see if I can find the front.

Great thread, dmw56, and thanks for sharing. All your cars and trucks are great. I esp. liked the AMX and the Rambler. Nothing like an original unrestored car in great condition. And I love those colors on the Rambler too! :)
