New Shed Build
Well I have been working on this for almost two years. I have done all of it myself, with the help of some family and friends. It is a 30'x50', with three 10x8 insulated doors, and the ceiling is just over 10'. I built it to park my wife's car and my truck in, and still have a bay to "play" in. It will have a bathroom with shower and radiant heat in the floors. I do automotive upholstery work on the side and do auto body work for a living. It isn't complete yet but I finally got power hooked up about 3 weeks ago, so I just now got around to doing any kind of build thread or progress thread.
Sorry for the long post, but it's basically start to finish. Well almost, still have a few things to do yet.
So here are some pics:
Here we are pouring the floor, unfortunately this is the first pic I have of the progress.
Time for the power trowel!
Floor cured, and time for some walls
Sheathing going up
Here's the supervisor, making sure we are doing it correct.
Walls sheathed, and trusses going up
Could not of asked for a more beautiful day
Roof sheathing
Securing trusses inside
View from inside
And some shingles
Roof done, and sides wrapped
Here is my radiant heat manifolds I made
Attic ladder in and doors up
Already starting to fill up, and don't even have power yet
Bathroom going up
Hanging insulation, even go the wife out in freezing temps to help, glad I married her
Vapor barrier for ceiling up, and hanging ceiling
Dad taking a break before we start hanging ceiling.
Installing windows in the dark
Starting on siding
Aluminum trim around doors
More siding
Siding all done
Wiring all ran
And finall, a year after we poured the floor, I finally get power hooked up!!!!
