My vehicle storage barn

Purchased a new home and did some work on the barn. Figured I might show it off here...

Thanks for the kind words. Outside is relatively boring.

Just a steel pole barn. It is 44'x56'. The workshop barn next to it is 24' x 56'

The previous owner used it to house his and his friends cars. I would like to add some better lighting, but that will have to wait for some time completing other projects.

I am a bit spoiled when it comes to space, but the barns are the reason I bought this house.

I have not moved into the workshop yet. That building is 24 x 56 split into two roughly equal size partitions. The front half is shown below. I added a Rotary SPOA-10 lift. This side will house car tools and workbenches. The other half will be my machine shop.

Here is a pic of the front half with the lift. I have added 4 more 8' lights since this was taken so it is brighter now.

I am very spoiled for space. I grew up in NYC and none of this would be feasible there. I have a great wife that supports my addiction. Sometimes I wish we collected thimbles instead of cars, but we don't...

This is the other half of the 24 x 56 workshop that will be devoted to machine tools. The VCT floor was already down on this side, would not have been my first choice for the machine shop area. I considered adding click together floating 3/4 oak on top, but that seemed overkill.... It has a man door between it and the other side, and a double man door to the exterior.
