So, we sold our house and moved further into the hills of Marin County and the place is great but no shop. I converted the car port into my make-do shop. I light it, powered it, enclosed it with carriage doors, windows and a door. Here is my Iron collection that is not really a collection as much as they are my tools of my trade. I just wanted to share and keep the ball rolling, generate some discussion with the vintage guys and create a space within my own projects to get assisted and share enthusiasm :)

This is the Iron, I will post more of my little systems I have installed and how I converted the car port.......I have plans for the new shop but I am locked up with the county and civil engineers etc, But I do have a permit to build. I will update as I get started.

Classiest shop I've ever seen and I've seen some nice ones, but never one with a Persian rug before. Dude you rock! :rocker:

:D

And good luck building up that way. I thought between the moratoriums on building in certain locations and when possible the insane requirements for fire suppression it just isn't all that cost effective anymore. But you mentioned you have a permit already, what is it for?

Is that a walker turner or black and decker drill press? Or am I way off? Nice iron. And congrats!
