My Thoughts/Plan for Epoxy Floor

I have approx. 1450 sq ft of garage to epoxy. Two car garage and one RV Bay (RV weighs approx. 70,000lbs and has tag axle). Garage is 18 months old. No oil spots.

First Power wash
Then plan to use Diamabrush from Home Depot with Vac.
Sweep and Rinse
Then Muriatic Acid Wash
Rinse and PH test.

Start with Garage Flooring LLC Primer (TL015) 5 gallons
Next use the Garage Flooring LLC High Sold Epoxy (TL707) 12 gallons
Apply approx. 20 to 25 lbs of B411 flake

Then use Armor Poxy Commercial/Military Grade Top Coat.

Any problems using two different vendor products?

Given I live in Idaho, plan to roll out outdoor carpet like Traffic Master stair Runner and then just place fan in Garage and vacuum after snow and salt fall off car, etc.

Don't like Hellfire and Bullet because can't add flake. Polyurea coating don't seem thick enough to me.

Look forward to receiving any thoughts. Thanks.

Pick a material vendor and use their primer, body coat and clear. We strongly advise against intermixing different manufacturers.

For our 100% solids systems we always recommend diamond grinding with acid etching being 2nd best but never both.

Go ahead and skip the power wash. Skip the sweep and rinse, skip the muriatic acid wash. Just grind the floor and vacuum it well before applying your primer. Definitely use a dust shroud and vacuum while grinding. Otherwise you will be introducing unnecessary moisture into your slab. And I agree, stick with one manufacturer unless you are familiar with the coatings that you are using

Garage Flooring LLC has a high performance polyurethane that is very similar to ArmorPoxy's military top coat.

Agree with above, stick with one vendor since if you have a problem, no one can take accountability.

We offer fully matched primer/epoxy/topcoat systems as do the other popular vendors with excellent products active on the Forum.
