Thanks to GJ or perhaps not so thankful given how much I look for tools now I am on my way in starting up a whole new toolbox. Will keep updating this post as i go. But so far I have ordered:

Stahlwille 14 series 17 piece combo wrench set 6-22mm
Wiha 30299 screwdriverset

I have the following sitting in my amazon cart:
Tekton 23,24,25,26 mm combo wrench
tekton SAE wrench set 1/4' - 1-1/4'
Tekton magnetic pick up tool
TEKTON 2841 Everybit (TM) Ratchet Screwdriver, Electronic Repair Kit and Security Bit Set, 135-Piece by TEKTON
TEKTON 3350 Pry Bar Set, 5-Piece
Channelock 6,8, 10"adjustable wrenches
GearWrench 80550F 57-Piece 3/8 in. Drive 6-Point SAE/Metric Socket Set with FREE 51-Piece 1/4 in. SAE/Metric Standard/Deep Socket Set (I am undecided on this one, wondering if i will regret not spending more money and buying better quality sockets?)

Much more to come, as the research on this site continues.

I just recently purchased the Tekton 2841 Everybit set and I like it. The ratcheting screwdriver has 72 teeth and works great. Just fixed the sewing machine foot pedal with it because I had the kit handy in the living room. My Husky ratcheting screwdriver has less than half the number of teeth and it works well, but the Tekton is obviously superior.

Those exact gearwrench 3/8 and 1/4 sets are working well for me. And can’t beat the price of about $105 shipped. Looks like you have a great start going.
