I'm new here what kind of tools do you guys like? I swear I have every tool ever sold by Harbour Freight! I love that place!:bowdown:

I like craftsman. Pretty much because I started out in my teens with a small set from my ol' man. I like most of my brand name stuff to match. I have some hf stuff. I love my U.S. general box. 16 gauge air nibbler is great. Bit and pieces from there too. The pittsburg bar clamps are great. A side by side comparison with the craftsman is identical.

Really??? how about buying some American tools support some folks here in the States.

IMHO its just plain wrong to live in the States & buy all that chineese ****!!

From OED, gray is the adjective denoting the colour intermediate between black and white, or composed of a mixture of black and white with little or no positive hue; ash-coloured, lead-coloured.

Wow! I dont know what a troll is but I'm pretty sure I'm not one. I'm sorry I like HF tools. I do not have much money and I try to be happy with what I can afford. I have no problems with craftsman or snap on I just cant afford them. Thanks for making me feel like **** my first day here.

Check out some flea markets or other used tool venues and I bet you can set yourself up with some great tools at great prices!!!

Saying you like HF and chinese tools is not trolling by itself. But the way you said it is a bit antagonistic.

If you randomly found this forum and signed up right away, we all owe you an apology. But if you've spent more than five minutes lurking here and reading some of the tool threads, you'd see that we don't take kindly to crappy quality tools. Most HF tools and many imported tools fit that category.

If HF is what you can afford, then that's okay. But don't go claiming you like them for their superb quality.

I have a very limited tool budget, but I'm great at finding sales and incredible deals. Others here are incredible at finding insane deals via Ebay.

I came over from the jockey journal and they are bunch of stand up fellows over there. I guess I crossed some kind of invisible status line here. Dont worry I wont post anymore on here.

Agreed. If this is indeed true, welcome. It just has interesting timing with some events as of a few hours ago, along with the tone of it. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry about that.

There are a few members here on the radar that would do something like this the way they've been lately, that's all.

In that case, sorry and welcome. It's not you, read my post above.

Long story short, a few members have been poking the bear and intentionally trying to start arguments with the rest of the board.

The admin cleaned up a thread and warned against it.

Then your post showed up, which most people on here wouldn't make the claim of liking HF tools and being high quality (you're entitled to your own opinion), and we made the assumption you were one of the above people trying to start an argument and get people in trouble.
