Well moved into my first house last April, finally got most of the inside done, so time to start on the garage.

Made some decent progress so far. Still a ways to go.

What I started with.

Looking great so far. What are the next steps, and what is your color scheme going to be?

Finish fixing some of the sheetrock on the ceiling. Finish painting walls and ceiling. VCT tile. New lighting.

Thats about the immediate stuff.

Before next winter I want to run 220 out there so I can run a better heater.

I think I'm going to do black/red checkerboard on the floor to match the camaro that never seems to leave the garage

So how many miles does your SS have since it stays in the garage all the time? Mine just turned over 110,000. It has developed a bag oil leak I have to find.

Small update, it snowed about 11 inches the last day and more on the way, so that has slowed some progress. But had an electrician friend come out. Gonna get some 220 pulled out there in the next week or so.

Looking good! Are those cabinets metal or wood? Can't tell by the pics. Nice wheels, I would take the style over the current version....okay, maybe not the ZL1

Nice job. How big is the garage? Hard to tell....

Haven't measured. Just a two car wide but it's pretty deep

You haven't measured it yet! I thought that is what all Garage people did very first thing! LOL

Good question. Who knows. House was built in 67 so I'm sure it's seen it's fair share of stuff in the garage. No leaks anywhere now so I don't have a clue lol

I grew up in Prairie Village but like Dorothy said "Toto, I don't think we are in Kansas anymore". I moved away in 1971.

That black support pole in the center is interesting. Somehow, I can see that incorporated as a nice feature in the garage. I like the cabinets in there as well. I think your place is going to come out really nice.

Thank you sir. It was pretty rough looking, just hit it with a few coats of DTM paint. Turned out pretty good.

Garage is definitely starting to get there. My heater shows getting here tomorrow. After that just waiting on the weather to warm up and do the floor.

Just the one side. The side that I didn't do is all new Sheetrock, so it still looks pretty good

Looks like you got the same Cub Cadet tractor as I do. Mine is a 2002 model and has been trouble free. The Kawasaki engine is great. I am on my third Cub Cadet in 35 years, so they are averaging about 12 years each. I am mowing 3 acres here.
Everything is looking great and I like the heater you installed. Good work!!!
