I have googled and everything else except called the phone # on the lift. Just not sure how much room is needed. I want to put it as close to the back wall as possible and not sure vehicle locations on it.

are the arms equal length? If so you need approx 8' from the centre to the front of the car.

As long as the cylinders don't leak, you should be fine. Worst case, you can always have them rebuilt with new seals. I'd also check the hydrualic lines and replace them as needed. You should be able to take the old hydraulic lines to use as templates for making the new ones. Now would also be a good time to take the whole unit to a body shop and ask them to media blast it and paint it whatever color you want (or you could even rattle paint it with primer and black paint at home). Finally, don't give up on the unit just because you can't get a hold of the MFG. The main concern should be the steel used for the lift. If everything is straight, then you're fine. Everything else (i.e. pump, hoses, fittings) can be easily sourced from just about anywhere. Anyway, nice score!

I just purchased the same hoist you have. The seller was trying to tell me that this hoist is a hydra-lift hoist, but I don't think so. I can't seem to find any info on the web. Only label that says Aero-lift model 2010-2020. Did you have any luck finding info?

Good morning everybody, new to the forum and I'm sorry to reopen an old thread but I recently bought one of these Aero-lift 8000lbs lift and I was wondering if any of you guy were successful in getting it install. Did you find some literature on operating or installing? I also don’t know where the raising and lowering valve is supposed to be. Can you send me some pictures of your hydraulic pack? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Cuda73
