The details are what make it a great piece. Well done.

Maybe for v2.0 you leave the horizontal arm loose and run a bolt/wingnut for some adjustability? But really, the KISS rule here seems to work very nicely.

How did you get the etching so dark? I have not been successful at this. Mine all come out etched well but dull...???

From my limited experience, it seems to be most due to the type of metal being etched. The brake rotor I used was cast steel. I've etched aluminum and stainless, and both came out much lighter.

Thank you. After further research I have a dinner fied that the metal with the most magnesium will determine how dark the etching appears

Larry anyway you can repost pictures of this, I loved it when you did it and wanted to create something similar for my Brother for Christmas.
