Wilton offers some of their vises in a high-vis kind of chartreuse color, but yours is the first one I've seen that's GREEN green!

Chartreuse: I thought that meant a type of cheese or wine! :lol_hitti

It's:
1) A color
2) A mountain in France
3) A monastery, in those mountains
4) A liquor made by the monks who live in that monastery - made since 1605.

It's not a wine, but a liquor. Strong, bitter & slightly anise flavored. It is used in a lot of "prohibition era" cocktails. And it's a staple in my bar.

After using a wire brush and sanding, I start with a self etching primer and then use this paint I bought from Standard Auto Parts

I just don't understand the green craze......Why do you guys buy that freaky color???

I prefer things nice and subdued myself.

I grew up in the Musclecar era and these colors like the green, orange and purple were great colors on Mustangs, Cudas and Camaros. I think it has a lot to do with it

green is great so when you drop your green pry bar/screwdriver etc inside a piece of equipment its easy to see, also if you leave it on a customers engine, you'll probably see it before you shut the hood etc.

i justified your obsession! LOL
