Today I found some goodies on Craigslist for sale. They'd been posted for 13 days, and I was surprised the guy still had them. I've begun to collect some of the older Craftsman vintage tools (trying to keep it 1960s and before), and I will probably just keep this thread and update it as I find more.

Today's haul was:

Craftsman Jointer, Model #: 103.23340

Craftsman Scroll Saw, Model #: 103.0407

Cummins 6" Circular Saw in the box

I don't have any photos yet, but I will update this thread once I've gotten the chance to get some photos showing the tools. The scroll saw is pretty old in comparison to the jointer. The jointer was a King Seeley brand make. The scroll saw has been painted almost a Delta/Rockwell brand grey.

The motor that came with the scroll saw was a 1/6th HP Delco motor with the model number A8260CC. Its a pretty decent set of tools, quite heavy and well made.

I paid $60 for all of it, good deal or...? :dunno:

Motor from the scroll saw:

Mount for the Motor. There is a screw mechanism that the guy I bought it from made where you crank on it with a socket and it moves further from the tool, tightening the belt.

So a little while ago I made a thread requesting advice on a vise. I ended up picking it up today. The shop had marked it down to $100 and had 20% off everything, so I ended up getting it for $80...!!! :D
