I am almost done with my welding cart. I still need to attach one side and paint it.

I needed a way to have a cart and a table that I could break the down in under a minute. The file cabinet keeps all my welding tools and my Miller mask.

Both Sides flip out and can be disconnected quickly.

To assemble the unit, Flip out one side and put in the third leg. The extra leg is kept in the back with the tank.

Slide in the two smaller squared tubes.

Remove the table from the other side and slide it over the smaller square tubes.

Pick up the table and move the third leg from the middle to the end and tighten the ten bolts.

This allows me to have a sweet large table and still allows the wife to park in the garage durring the great long Alaskan winters

I would like to replace the top grate with a nice thick 1/4 or 3/8 plate with slots cut into them.

I would also like to add a second set of holes to drop the table down 6 inches. The third leg is also adjustable.

The table is plenty strong, My 13yo didn't think it would support my fat 300 pound a$$. But it held it with no problem.

Great design on your welding cart, I really like the idea of a fold out welding table! Would you mind sharing what size tubing you used for your cart?

I may just have to steal some of your ideas, just so you know.

The thing that would happen to me if I had that cart is I'd probably end up welding/grinding too close to the machine in the heat of the job at some point and splattering up my welder! I know things get dirty when you're welding, but I don't like to shoot slag and/or sparks all over my equipment! :S

This is a nice setup. I have a nice filing cabinet that I built into a tool bench a while back. I was thinking of going another way with the bench and I was struggling to justify keeping the cabinet. I may have found a use for it after all! Thanks :)
