Greetings...

Just wanted to share a few pics of the welding cart I am building. The cart will contain a small chest of drawers on the bottom shelf (soon to be made), an Eastwood 175 MIG on the middle shelf and an Eastwood plasma cutter on the top.

The cart will handle 2 cylinders, one gas for steel welding and one for aluminum welding, has cable holders on each side and I'll be adding a removable handle and a slide-out tray for the MIG (to simplify wire reel changes).

I am not a professional welder but have made this from recycles materials, an abrasive chop say, 4-1/2" grinder and the welder. The cart will be steerable with a front axle design similar to those found on common "go-carts" and has 10" pneumatic tires from Harbor freight that work perfect for rolling over rough surfaces...

pretty nice. I am debating how to make my cart because I basically need an 2 shelf system like that (power supply/wire feeder)

Instead of solid rubber tires, I've seen some fancy carts with "fenders" to protect the tires from welding spatter.
