I've had this done since sometime this spring, finally got around to posting it here.

I picked up a scratch & dent box at Sears last Nov. for about 77$, took the casters off and mounted it to the 1" square tube frame I welded up. The box is sitting on a couple of oak boards I attached to the frame so the box lip would not get in the way. The caster were welded on and that worked out well, no drilling holes :bounce:.

I have a chain holding the tank plus a couple pieces of angle at the base for extra stability. One thing I wish I did different was use a piece of rectangle plate instead of round for the tank to sit on. Not really a big deal though.

I also got a round magenet and have a bolt run through the hole for a hanger for the ground cable (not pictured). The handle for towing is 1/2" galv. pipe anchored w/ a 5/8 grade 0 bolt held on with two pieces of angle welded to the frame (also not in the picture, added recently).

I do need to paint it yet (the frame) hopefully sometime in the next month or so I'll get the chance to do so. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out.

I now have a place for my welder and plenty of storage for accessories, wire, gear & for the moment, my abrasive's & grinding stuff.

Post an updated pic after you paint it. I'd like to see the tow handle. Personally, I think the conventional welding carts on the market **** and a person has to get creative to make a good one.
