I was at a sale today and picked up some stuff in box lots that are unidentifiable to me... any help is appreciated.

I believe two of these items to be knurling tools but they do not look standard.

I am not sure how the tap jig would be used either, what do you guys think?

Also... a money shot for the vise guys, two Kurt 6" milling vises and a cute little suction vise. These were the smallest milling vises there - unfortunately too big for my smithy so I will be reselling soon. Any idea what the bar attachment on the one is?

Kurt 6" milling vises? Kind of a ruff finishe on those it they are Kurt. The bearing for the lead screw is usually flush in the casting, color is off. If they are Kurt when the vise jaws are parted there should be a curtain that keep the chips off the lead screw. Also the base, the hold downs for the vise are knocked, not a complete hole.

Interesting comments Pepi, the curtain is there and the bearings are flush - those are collars. Hold down bolt holes are consistent with pictures of other angle lock Kurt's on ebay. And they have serial numbers on the tags.... Kurt ang lock precision machine vise. They do need a good cleaning however.

Pepi is describing newer Kurts. Yours are older but just as good after a cleaning and rebuild.
