With mother's day just around the corner, I thought I'd share some of my wife's tool collection.


My beautiful wife (8.5 months pregnant with our first son) and her toolbox:

measuring devices:

hobby knife set, mini hack saw, razor blade scraper, Snap-on hard handle picks, hot glue workstation:

pliers (SO, Knipex, china), adjustable wrenches, hex keys, 1/4" SO ratchet:

pink SO ratcheting screwdriver, SO screwdrivers, off-brand screwdrivers, USA Stanley screwdrivers:

Craftsman light-duty stapler, hammers:

levels and squares:

(no pink in this drawer) files and chisels:

C-clamps:

14" aluminum pipe wrench and prybar:

Craftsman 4V drill, flashlight, power-snips, radio headphones, assorted bits:

Dremel Multi-max, Craftsman 4V rotary tool, rotary tool bits:

Mini vacuum accessory kit, 50" 14ga extension cord:

8.5 months pregnant and she's smiling and posing for a picture? Lucky guy! Mine was about ready to rip my head off at 8.5 months!

Life's about to get VERY busy for the both of you....but it's the best kind of busy ever.... Congrats to you both!!

Question - Is the toolbox a US General painted pink? It looks like it, but can't tell for sure.

I've been thinking about getting my wife the 26" US General setup for her to organize her craft supplies.

That is a softer pink then the one I saw at sears form pink box. It is also much larger.

regular gray aluminum wrench + pink paint = pink pipe wrench

Yes, it's the 16-drawer US General ball-bearing box that has been de-badged and repainted pink.

Might need some sockets to go with that ratchet though

Yeah, I've slowly been piecing together a set from my "extras."

Yep. She's actually quite handy around the house.

Congrats on the new arrival! Handsome little dude! Good job on starting him out right...trying to do the same with our little guy. He's almost 2 and I've already got a running start on his tool setup and he is fascinated with anything and everything in the shop. Never thought about using a creeper for nap time! Maybe I'll try that out on the next one!
