Sometimes, when someone leaves the lid off of a bucket of MEK, the whole thing can evaporate in a few hours! So, be careful to keep a lid on it. .

These fumes are nasty. You definately want to use a GOOD filter mask. Open all the doors and windows for full ventilation. The fumes really spread out. I left the lid off once and could smell the fumes from 25 feet away. The stuff works great as a solvent/cleaner with the Wolverine products. But is a little different to work with.

Personally, I wouldn't bother to clean the mixing blade. If you spin it off a little you'll have a nice coating on it for the next use.

This is what I did also. Just let the stuff harden on the mixing blade. By the time you need it for a different material it has fuly hardened and is ready to use.

Great write-up man! Thanks for all the tips, I'll be sure to incorporate them when I start my project.

I've got ~18+ gallons Wolverine product and then some sitting here waiting to be put down...life's, and weather, has just been getting in the way.

Looks great!!!!

Dave, you are being a weeny. Get that garage done! Then you will have more friends then you knew you had. :)

Thanks for taking the time to document your very thorough job! You got me switched over to Wolverine. Couple questions-- did you ever figure out what you have invested in the job, not counting a lot of time of course.

Also I have heavy tool boxes, a motorcycle lift, floor jacks so I'm going to be giving my floor a work out. do you have any durability assessment as yet?

thanks, john
