Here are some before pictures and what it looks like right now. I will be painting red, black, and a thin white stripe in a few weeks after the paint cures. The floor is PVC black tile that is used in bank vaults. Cabinets will be coming soon. A gas heater will also be installed.

I would like to thank the members for sharing as I got lots of ideas from you all.

Looks great. Any more info on the flooring? Where can you buy it? Is it glued down/together?

All I know about the PVC flooring is that it’s made in Germany. I have some bundles left and I am sure I can find a manufactures name on it if you would like it. It is very heavy so it does not require any glue. It is hammered together similar to a puzzle. I cut it with a circular and jig saw. I got a really good deal on it from a commercial flooring company. I only paid 250.00 for 1200sg ft. I have enough do my woodwork in my basement also.:) My friend that got me the deal said it’s very expensive. All I had to pay for was the two guys to deliver it and the gas money from North NJ as he wanted it out of his warehouse. It was left over from a few bank jobs they did.

Thanks for the positive comments. I can’t wait till the garage is finished.

Yeah if you can post the manufacturer that would be great. I like the idea of no glue and something heavy duty like that.

Thanks

Yea I have to be careful with money or the wife will hurt me.

Spackler 500.00 (way to much for me to do time wise) 2 union guys and it took them 16hrs.

Cabinets 1100.00

Kegerator 1400.00

I am in only $3,700 so far. That includes paint, lights, floor, phone, spackle, reel ext. cord, and odds and ends.

Was it hard to paint the stripes on the wall? What technique did you use to get the razor sharp edges and proper alignment?

I need to update my total. Cabinets were 1,100.00 and my new BM23 Kegerator was 1400.00 so I am a little over budget.

I have to take some new pics.

Goods very good. I like the colors.

Thank you, I let the wife pick the colors. It looks better in person.

I used a laser and blue tape. It was not hard just a pain in the ____ and it helps to have a buddy to help out. If you want them perfect repaint the stripes the first time with the wall color and this will seal the tape to the wall without any bleeding of the final stripe color.

Man, that really does look nice.

I'd switch to a laptop with wireless if you can down the road and regain some mobility with the rolling cabinet but it looks awesome.

$1,400 for a Kegerator? WOW...I know the old adage you get what you pay for, but come on.

I have a Sanyo/Summit for $450 so far so good. Good thing I am not a fan of Coors, its the only keg that will not fit.

Very nice setup. Can you share some info on the rack system for the lawn tools? This is just what I need...

I know it's a lot of money, but it works great and I like beer. 1st pour has 3/4 inch of foam and beer is always 38 deg.

That stinks about the Keg size for Coors. I know it's fatter in the middle. They did it to protect fingers when stacking and some other reason I forgot.

I have a nice laptop and use it all over pool, garage, and ect. I dont keep it in there since sound stinks. That computer is mostly for music. I need to get wire run for my whole house stereo in there.
