Here are some pics of the 2 story project we have been working on when we can and when $ permits. The 2nd floor is no where near done, but it is going to be a wood shop and a place for my wife to do stained glass. Dont hold back, let me know what you think! Thanks Scott

It looks good. It seems like you garage is only 2/3 the length of the 1st floor of the building. Is that an ATCO trailer in the back?

I'm not sure what a ATCO trailer is, but it is a 40x60 steel building that is used for storage. I think in this pic you can see the 10x10 garage door in the back. The 2nd floor is 20x 44 and is canalivered(?) to the back building. There was a OLD garage on the bottem that we had taken down, so whe we built we used the same footer and slab that was there, so I ahve a space of 9ft between the buildings that only has 5ft head room but great for mowers. I would have loved to ran the footers and slab back but it was not in the cards. It made the permit a lot easyer being that I didnot change the footprint of the building.

Atco trailers are trailers used for storage or temp offices at construction sites.
You did a good job of converting everything over into a nice usable work area.

So you can get from the back building into the upstairs with big doors?
And the back building has a ground level entrance?
I am just thinking of getting big projects in and out of the upstairs work space.
You might want to think about a hatch in the floor and a hoist otherwise.

ATCO.... Alberta Trailer Company, manufactured right here in Calgary Alberta. A standard in the oilfields around the world.
