Not that long ago, I bought a second Myford Super 7 at a garage sale. The lathe was $100 and it came with well over a $1000 worth of tooling.
This included included a 6846 set of collets and the collet chuck. I did a little Google search and I did not find very much information.
Is anyone here familiar with this collet system?

It has been almost 3.5 years since I started this thread. The Myford mentioned in this thread was my second Myford. I gave it very little freshening and posted it for sale on CL. The first person to show-up paid me $2000.00. and I kept the accessories.
Today, after considering all of my circumstances, I gave my Myford Super 7 to my daughter. She is a skilled machinist and teaches in metal trades.
I am looking for a quick-change tool post from and for Myford ML7 and Super 7 lathes.
