Hey fellas Can you help me out. I went out to the garage this morning and my 125 btu hot dog furnace won't come on. I first opened the gas valve turned up the thermostat and nothing. It's a fairly new furnace I have only used it 2 or 3 times. I know nothing about furnaces can some one tell me what I can do other than call a furnace guy? Thanks guys Mike

Is the power switch on? In my neck of the woods it is required to have a switch installed on any furnace. Just a simple light switch.

Need more info. Power to unit? Inducer fan running? Ignition module sparking before lockout?

Does the blow fan come on?

Does the exhaust fan come on?

Is the unit plugged in or have power to it (switch or breaker on)?

It does nothing. The unit is wired directly to the fuse panel and has a separate breaker of it's own. Would it be ok to jumper the two wires on the thermostat to see if will come on?

Some times if you reverse the wires on those units they fire right up. But it sounds like yours has no power to it if nothing is happing. I replaced the circuitry board on mine after 14 years. Very good unit.

I installed a 75000 btu hds heater a month ago. Went in the garage and turned the switch on and nothing happened. The thermostat said LO and changed the batteries and all was good.

Take the panel off and check to make sure you have power to the unit

Any updates?
