I just purchased a random tin of assorted sockets off craigslist for $10 on a hunch based on the blurry photo in the ad. I ended up with 3 pieces Gray tools and 3 Snap on sockets. The rest was a mix of middle of the road USA made brands like American Forge and no name made in Japan sockets. The only branded piece that I couldn't find any information on was a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter. It's marked as W.D SA1438 Chrome Vanadium. It will be much appreciated if anyone can tell me more about the origins of the adapter.

Westward?

Gray, made in Canada Snap-on, Westward… I would never find a box like that around here.

The made in Japan junk… that I would find. I do not even keep that stuff. It goes in my giveaway pile.
