Mystery Craftsman Tool

While taking inventory of the massive tool collection I just inherited, I have come across some strange looking tools that I'm having a hard time identifying. Maybe you guys can share some knowledge.

I have this funny looking Craftsman wrench(?), part number 5429-50. The closest thing I can find to this tool in catalogs is in the 1949 Craftsman catalog. A tool that looks just like this seems to have been sold as part of an O&A torch kit. However, based on the logo style on this tool, I believe it is from before 1949.

Does anyone know who was the manufacturer of this tool, and what the date range was? There is no manufacturer code stamped anywhere on the tool.

+1 on torch wrench. As for dating it, that's a prewar logo that was changed in 45 for all but a few select items, one of them being that torch wrench. I've got a NOS gas set date stamped 51 that still wears the old logo on the wrench (and most of the other ancillary items in the set). Harris made gas sets for Sears for several decades. Wether they made the wrenches in-house (doubtful) or sourced it to another OEM (probable) is unknown (at least it's unknown by me).
