So a while back I picked up this floor jack with a missing name plate from an estate sale that looked Hein Warner like. Finally got tired of stumbling around a non-functional jack and tore it down.
I haven't found any proper matches for it in my searching so I thought it was time to reach out to the brain trust. The thing that throws me off is the mechanism that takes the rotary motion of the know to release the jack. Rather than the common gears etc or universal joint it uses an acme threaded actuated lever to press on the lift cylinder release. Another thing I found odd is that rather than C-clips for retaining pins, a malleable soft steel strip was bent in a c clip fashion. When removing, these stayed disfigured and with basic hand tools don't reform back to their installed shape well afterwards.
Any ideas? The acme threads are worn but that could be fixed with some lathe work. I need to ID the jack for finding a seal kit.
I'm still guessing it's a H-W but I couldn't find a match.
