These pliers (?) came my way last week. They appear to be some sort of specialty forming tool. No cutters. A single hole for a wire or pin. Curved jaws for forming something. Unmarked. Any ideas about their purpose? Thanks so much for your wisdom!

Thanks so much for pointing me to Google—just went there and learned all about them! Garage Journal never disappoints!

As Dave said, these are glass running pliers for cleaving along scored lines. Start at the glass edge and keep them nice and square, minimal engagement with the workpiece for a clean cut. Work best for straight cuts.

These are for following a diamond cut score line on glass you are cutting. They also come in rubber jawed and are used in stained glass work most of the time. Essential for stained glass work, either copper foil or lead based cane.
