Mystery screwdriver - who made it?

Picked this up at a yard sale - seems to be good quality, but no brand name. Anyone recognize it?

no doubt an import. has a lrge round disk on for a cap at the top of th handlei am sure. not the worst import screwdriver. probabaly some of the better stuff but not great by any means.

Yeah, like trying to use a file as a prybar (still haven't done that yet).

Asian origin sounds great right about now, after realizing that.

My Grandpa had one like that, but the handle was maroon color, same style. No name and made in Israel. Tough old screwdriver, don't think I would rush out a buy a set, but is at least 25 years old and many were hard years, never failed. If you paid 50 cents for it, not bad.

I had ones similar to that, that I got at a dollar store when I was young.

I believe those green handled drivers were sold by HF about 15+ years ago. I see them in the pawn shops all the time. I've never used one so I can't say how well they work or hold up. I like the idea of the striking cap at the end of the handle. I have a set of Wera's with that feature and it comes in handy when you are working on vintage iron.
