Mystery socket brands

Picked these up at the flea market this morning with a mess of other similar era (1920's through 1940's) 1/2-inch drive sockets. Not branded, and it's not ringing any bells for me. Anybody recognize the make? Note the two bands of light knurling. Note also that the service opening (the actual fastener-grabbing points) has a strange, unique broaching.

How about this one? This is a deep 1/2-inch drive socket with a 1" service opening drilled with holes for optionally turning with a cross bar. For spark plugs. Not branded. I am going to look up the Federal Stock Number (41-W-3328) in a manual I have at work on Monday, but I am wondering if anyone recognizes the mfgr by the features. It reminds me of Blackhawk or perhaps Snap-on, but that's just off the top of my head.

EDIT: I found it in a manual I have at home. It goes in several WWII upper echelon tool-sets. Spark plug socket, as expected. No suppliers listed.

There is a Snap On NAF version on AA.

Looks pretty similar to the Navy version. Different FSN though. Mine is a R41-W-3033-62.

The FSN is out of the catalog, unfortunately it’s not marked on the socket. Just the NAF part number.

April 1945 ORD 6 SNL G-27. I am going to look it up in the March 1945 ORD 5 SNL J-4 tomorrow to see if there's an ORD TAC ES number or a Mfgr's Code in the spec column.
