We always used one of these, even when I worked at a service station many years ago. We had a bottle of Ruglide and brush on tire changer. That or soapy water.

I use mine every day making coat hangers. It does say "flock of time!"[emoji16]

Thank you for that, it makes since as it came with some other tire stuff. I'm used to the rod with the threaded floppy end. Is there any advantage with this one?

Those are for pulling the old valve out, but TPS sensors on the end of the valve make that tool useless. That would ruin the TPS sensor which is big $$$. They were faster than the tread on kind but did leave the new stem with a dent/abrasion.
