Was at a get together Labor Day weekend and a friend had a tool he'd found in a box of tools from a sale. He (in his 60's) said his father had one when he was a boy but it was the only other one he'd seen. No knew for sure what it was but we all had ideas. Mine seemed to be the most plausible by everyone's guess...I thought you'd wrap emery paper around the tool locking it with the thumb screws for a small contour sander.

Yes, maybe the "plumbers roll" type of sandpaper would be used that way. I have never seen this tool, though.

I figured someone would have jumped on this by now....but of course the 30 or 40 people that looked at it last weekend didn't know for sure either.
