Got another lot of tools the other day because I saw the pliers on top in one of the boxes and I thought they looked like knipex plus I needed some extra carry boxes(ended up with two big ones in like new condition minus one tray). No name on the pliers in the end as far as I can see. The vice-grips(looks to tighten and clamp but it needs degreased so nonfunctional atm) also have no visible name, built kinda like craftsmans robogrip with side panels and spacers (red rubber on the back section) in-between with the mechanism. Finally the Craftsman cutters, pretty sure they're gardening shears but I never seen gardening shears made by craftsman or any other big tool brand.

Curious if anybody knows anything about these.

The BMC locking pliers in the middle are interesting in that the jaw faces stay parallel when the pliers are locked down. If you can fix it up and get it working, it still has its uses today. I have one in the pliers bin and have used it on occasion (I have no problem keeping vintage collectible tools in service if they still have a practical use). IIRC, the company only made these pliers for a few years around the end of WW2 and then switched to making pedal cars.

Nice old shears. Craftsman had a full line of almost any garden tool you wpukd need. From those, to hedge trimmer attachment that goes on the end of an electric drill!! Lol. Pretty good quality too. I still use the solid old lopper set i have around the acreage.

Yup, Sears even had a separate Farm & Ranch catalog series.

Got everything cleaned up now. Can read the BMC pliers now and they're a No.7. They're in working order now so they'll go in my vice-grips drawer with my standard vice-grips and a pair of craftsman autogrips that basically work the same way but not as well.

Still trying to figure out the adjustable pliers, no markings even though they're in fairly good shape and the lot had stuff from 1930s to late 2010s from American brands, European brands, and Asian brands so there's not much to go on. Also grips are clear plastic, difficult to see in pics.
