Ah yes, the Snap-On invisible wrenches. They were a limited edition release for only 6 months. They are HIGHLY sought after, as they are the only wrench that works on invisible bolts. You got a keeper.

I have a whole set of those in standard, metric, and whitworth. I don't like that style though. I always get my little finger stuck in the hole in the handle whenever I polish them. I have always wondered if I would like the Truck brand ones better but I think Lisle or A&E make all of the domestic ones anyway. I hate to buy from the Chinese but the Gearwrench version is even polished on the inside and I kind of like the idea of everything being in a transparent fitted case. If anyone is interested in my old set, shoot me a PM. They have never been used so it could be a great deal for someone who likes peg board and does not mind the more industrial look of them.

Mad...that set looks just like mine except not polished on the inside. I ordered mine with the clearcoat finish.

I had another one made of Unobtanium. The manufacturer refused to honor the warranty because they claimed they had never made that product.

I ordered another one from sears.com, and at first it was in stock and "arriving in 5 days". then for some reason, the order was canceled with no explanation and my payment got lost in limbo.

I think tools made from unobtanium are the best, but hard to come by. It must have something to do with Homeland Security, because I have only noticed these problems since 9/11.

Hey, I think that's the one I misplaced last year while working on a concrete stretcher and sky hook. :see: I'd sure like to have it back so I can keep it with the rest of the collection. Check the back side and see if it has my user name on it.

PS...If you return it, I'll let you borrow it any time you need to. :lol2:

The poor OP is going to come back and find his thread burglarized, ransacked and looted.

It's like a train wreck, though...you can't help but watch it happen. Of course, many of us are also drawn to participate, which is probably sick...
