Mystery Tool Set--ever seen something like this?

Well, this set is a mystery to me, and I know a fair amount about tools. I bought a garage full of stuff from a truck mechanic, and this one has me stumped. The pieces look like aluminum, but they are steel.

No brand name anywhere, and the numbers don't help either.

I thought they were bushing drivers of some sort, but they are unlike any bushing drivers I've ever seen.

Anyone have any thoughts? Or better yet, can anyone definitively identify these? Thanks in advance.

One of my original thoughts as well, but this is made of steel, and there is no way to pound on it.

not sure if I have that manual here or not... I doubt it.. all my lawnmower stuff is "repair manual". check International Tool Catalog Library ... no... wait.. check archive.org for manuals ... it's a separate deal from the catalogs.
there are also all kinds of "manuals online" websites as well.

^ I could have used several of those widgets over the years. I made my own seal drivers out of pvc pipe.

I never would have guessed that in a million years, but at least the majority of the tools did have to do with seals. So I was close..lol

after doing a bit more poking around, it appears that the model 670195 tool kit changed over the years... obviously from D to E to F ... as to A and B and C and anything G or beyond is anyone's guess.

I have been working on lawn mower engines since the 1970s and I have never even come across one of these kits! I've rebuilt a few Tecumsehs (standard engine on the 1960s-70s Toro Whirlwind mowers that I used as a kid) and boy would this have come in handy. Thanks for sharing!
