As the guys above said - adjustable/expanding reamers!

You need them rarely, but if you need one, nothing else works as well!

In case you hadn't worked it out, that's a good few bucks worth you have there! If it's a complete set it's seriously worth hanging onto!

Those are not run of the mill adj reamers. With the long pilot I'm going to venture a guess they are for something special or outside of the automotive field.

I can't tell size from pic, but more likely shotgun barrel work: deepening chambers, tapering forcing cone, removing choke to thread for screw-ins, backboring.

Ok, adjustable reamers it is. They are owned by the shop I work for which has been a heavy equipment/ truck shop for 60+ years, so I can't see them being used for gun smithing. They're made by Gray. Maybe used for reaming bores for hydraulic spool valves? Dunno.
