I think it says Made in USA 1 3/8 on one end and Made in USA 1 5/8. I think it may have had a wooden handle in middle.

That's a good idea, I was wondering if it was some kind of spoke tool for a Model T? It's stumped me for years

Do the measurements correspond with the opening size or to the center to center of the pins? I'm trying to make it into some sort of antique fixed pin wrench but I'm not seeing any wear marks if it was used for that. There appear to be other markings other than the size and made in the USA but I can't make them out...LIGE? LIGL? :dunno:
I see some type drawers in the background perhaps some sort of print tool?
Regardless very interesting, as were my last two hours spent looking at Google images of antique tools. :rolleyes2

That is a tool rest.... they had them on the urinals in my elementary school. ;)

Those metal ones were COLD!! but way better than the wooden ones... no slivers!

Maybe it's not a tool. What makes you think it is? Looks like cast iron. A lot of things used to be made of cast iron. other than tools.

Not related to printing. I'll try and coax those other letters out of there.
