I've been trying to identify this vise for about a month now without much luck. I originally posted this in the main vise thread and on facebook. Some people were able to point me towards Meadville Vise Co. and a patent for a very similar design by Barrett, but that's much as I've been able to locate. The design of the slide(s) and the leadscrew retaining collar look very similar to a Meadville No. 1. There are no markings on it that I've been able to discover. Jaws are 5 3/4" and it weights roughly 70lb. Any ideas?
