Found this 10-inch adjustable wrench. Stamping is 10 N.Y. MDSE. CO. INC GERMANY or less possibly, 10 N.Y. MOSE. CO. INC GERMANY. On the back side it has a hexagon symbol.

Did not have much luck searching the company name. Not sure if the blue paint is original, or added by the previous owner.

Put quotes around it like this

" n y mdse" company

When you do your search. Lots of tools show up in regular googling. So do a few court cases and protests, it appears

Switch to Google books and lots of sources show up around 1920.

as well as
1956 Dallas City Directory

I do not recognize the hexagon logo.
My guess would be an item imported by any number of companies that operated out of Brooklyn, NY, like the Spiegel Brothers.
