Does anyone know anything about this brand? Long body 3 ton jack. Looks pretty old. I can't find anything about it online.

There is one for sale in my area. The seller doesn't know what it is worth and asked me to make an offer. He said it probably needs some hydraulic fluid, but that it lifted up about 400 lbs of steel and held fine with no leaks.

What is (i) a fair offer, and (ii) a steal price.

Thanks!

The Same design is still used on some Import jacks today (Little different Release mechanism), Its Not a Bad Design, fairly Simple with few moving parts. If the Casters are all good, No Excessive Pitting on Pump Piston/Ram and appears to have had oil in it. $50 would be a steal and i wouldnt give more than $75 with the thoughts that if it needed to be rebuilt. Maybe a little more if you feel comfortable rebuilding it yourself, if you have to farm the work out.. Walk away.

Thanks Hiball. I know nothing about these old jacks. Are they difficult to rebuild? Are the parts fairly universal, even for imported jacks?

The tag says Date No. 50-7-4204. Circa 1950?

Not from the 50's, More than likely 70's, Maybe into the 80's. Not to tough to Rebuild.. You do need some general hand tools and someway to secure the Hydraulic Unit, while you remove the Tank Nut (to get inside).
