Are there any nail guns that shoot the spiral shank (ie, twisted, almost like a coarse thread) nails?

I hope I'm using the right terminology, a carpenter I am not. I only work w metal but was tasked with finding such a gun and I don't think it exists?

If it does, links would be most helpful. Even my local carpenter friends were no help.

Coil framer, or you can get ribbed nails that shoot out of a stick nailer

I've shot spiral and ring shank nails in my framing guns. Hitatchi and senco. What are you building?

Why do you need spiral? As others have pointed out, ring shank is far more common and should hold just as well. I'd put up lots of fence boards with ring shank shot from my Porter Cable nailer.

If yes, these nails (https://www.mazenails.com/nails/9/40/CT44*S/other-specialty-nails/treated-lumber/spiral-shank-ptl-nails) will work in any ~20° stick type gun such as this:

http://www.bostitch.com/en-us/products/tools/construction-tools/nailers/framing-nailers/21-degree-plastic-collated-framing-nailer/f21pl

or this type:

http://www.portercable.com/Products/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=28950

you can also use these ring shank nails (like these https://www.mazenails.com/nails/9/40/CT44*A/other-specialty-nails/treated-lumber/ring-shank-ptl-nails) with the above guns.

There is nothing wrong with screw nails....I think they hold better than ring shank.

For "specialty" nails, you can't beat Maze !

I built a shadow box fence out of PT about 40 years ago. I used hot dipped galvanized, twist "box" nails (standard head, thinner and shorter shank). They are all still holding tight.
