This is not a garage question but I hope someone can help me, how to you nail Romex staples in a tight space, such as this in the pic?

I'd use Romex straps, screws, and a right angle drill adapter.

I use needle nose pliers to hold tiny nails while tapping them into place.

Why run the wires into the side at all? Just bring them in the bottom where it's all easy to get to
Add a 2x4 nailer below the panel from stud to stud and contacting the sheathing. Staple in to the nailer.

I hate the old style staples...use the plastic straps with nails or stackers.

In that case I would have nailed just below the box and left the rest. Or as others said bottom entry (giggity).

I've put almost as many staples in with the side of my hammer as I have in the normal way, but I wouldn't have staples there, the cables would be going in the bottom of the panel. For places where it really is that tight and since there are four cables, Stackers to the rescue.
