I'm looking for the proper (searchable) name for the plastic bushings that are used with small appliances etc. they fit into a round or oval hole in the metal case and compress the 2 lampcord type wire to hold it from pulling out and protect it from abrading on the metal too .
any help appreciated .

Heyco strain relief bushings.

If you only need one, heyco offers free samples. I ordered one of every size because I wasn't sure which would fit the wiring I was using (it wasn't listed on their chart).

Sent from my new phone. Autocorrect may have changed stuff.
