I'm trying to figure out where I can source a few more of this bolt:

It has no threads and there is a hole at the bottom. I'm capable of drilling a hole in a bolt, but all of my tools are currently in storage, so it would be nice if I could avoid it.

In any event, is there a name for this threadless bolt?? My search results are mostly unrelated to fasteners...

You know, these are great ideas. There's no need for the hex head at all. I got so caught up in precise reproduction that I didn't examine the actual use case...Thanks folks!

I've made bolts like that, when I didn't have a pin. I just take a 6" bolt and cut the threaded portion of it off, then drill the hole. Makes about a 4 1/2"" pin. I'm sure that's how yours was made.
