Name that tool!!!!

Good morning everyone
I picked up a box of files and punches for 20$ from a estate sale a few months ago. I finally decided to put them away we'll I came across this punch and I'm not sure what it's used for and it does look like it was used a lot. Have you used one or know what it is for? Thanks for your help.

I'm going to venture a guess and say leather working tool. Is it particularly sharp?

Ya would say it has a good sharp edge. Any idea what or why you would use it one leather?

Well I'm imagining it cutting in designs or edging. I'm saying leather because I can't figure what other material you would use it on effectively and in that particular design and shape.

Definitely a cool thing to hang up in the shop for s&gs
