Name that vise!

Hey guys,
I’m on the hunt for an older American made vise and I’ve ran across one that I’m considering purchasing. Only identifying marks seem to be the large number six on the side, which is the width, I assume. Any info? Pictures attached.

Looks exactly like one I have that was made by/for olympia tools ( from japan ) bought new from a tool vendor at a swap meet over 30 years ago. I have abused it without mercy and it is still working just fine. what is the asking price ?

Definitely not American made- the giant number on the side is a dead giveaway. I'm no vise expert, but these seem to be marketed many different companies, all the vises are imported, dunno about quality. I don't think any American vise manufacturer ever cast the vise size into the vise as a giant digit.

I appreciate the info guys. They’re asking $100 for the vise. It’s a bit of a drive from me so I believe I’ll pass.
I’ll try to keep my eye out for a craftsman or something. No way am I lucky enough to run up on a good deal for a Milton bullet! I’m sure an American made vise will most likely have their brand clearly printed on the vise so I’ll keep an eye out for that.

That’s truly an appropriate name!
