Name this fitting

Trying to replicate this banjo/line setup and can't figure out the brass fitting.

Without seeing how the line is inside of it I would guess just a regular line fitting depending on whether it's bubble flared or inverted..... Maybe a compression of some style. Seems to me I've seen them on Mercedes engines before.

It is a banjo fitting with a AN male. You need to determine if its a 7/16" or 10mm and if the male end is a -4 or -3. Summit carries them.

arent brass flare fittings and AN/JIC fittings have a different flare angle that makes them incompatible. i know from experience at work that a brass flare fitting wont seal well on an aeroquip JIC fitting like you would find in hydraulics and fuel systems. you may want to verify both of those fittings have the same flare angle

It looks like a standard British brake "FLARE NUT" for a brake line.

usually 7/16" x 20 UNF with SAE flare.

Get a standard 7/16 UNF nut and see if it screws on OK

Thanks for the help. I've got the banjo fitting. I'm wondering if I should just use a compression fitting like one of these
