No markings. It's a tool that I need to source out. Not sure what the name is. I think it's used in GM motors.

Thanks a bunch! That's exactly what I need. I'm getting it for myself. Took a sidejob from a friend for a Water Pump job that required that tool and I didn't know what it is nor have I ever use one before.

It's used to lock in the Water Pump pulley which is enclosed in the Timing Cover of engines with Timing Chains. The Tool locks onto it while you remove the Exhaust and Turbo to access the backside of the Water Pump and slide it outward from the back.

Thus, The Timing Chain is held on without any slippage while you replace the Water Pump.

Hectic job with on a SAAB 9-3 Turbo, very limited room and to make things worst, Exhaust and Turbo in the back near the firewall.

The Tool is suppose to work for GM 2002-2007 EcoTec engines and some Saturn along with SAAB Turbos.

I've just placed an order for the full circle tool.
