I believe MIT is now Tekton incase you were unaware. I am not sure if the warranties still apply though.

Mit, as others have said, I've had quite a.few of they're tools and while they are not the best they are ok for occasional use.

The MIT name is still used in their web address and, along with Tekton, in the logo on their site. There are companies still advertising MIT product. I wonder if they still sell cheap stuff like tarps under the MIT brand or whether MIT is the parent company of Tekton. It is a family business with only 65 employees it is not like some mega company, MIT, has a Tekton division.
